Celebration of Digital India Week (1-7 July, 2015)
1. Digital India, a flagship program of the Government of India, aims to ‘transform India into a digitally empowered society and knowledge economy’. A Digital India Week has been planned by India’s Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY), to deliver the message of Digital India to citizens and to showcase Government’s initiatives in three key vision areas of (a) Infrastructure as a Utility of Every Citizen (b) Government and Services on Demand and (c) Digital Empowerment of Citizens.
2. The programme will be launched by the Prime Minister of India on July 1, 2015 at 16:00(IST) in New Delhi and is likely to be of two hours duration. Following are the links for the webcast of the launch of the Digital India Week on 01.07.2015 at 16:00IST:

3. The following activities will mark the ‘Digital India Week’ for Poland:
