Ambassador of India in Warsaw plant
On 27th of August Mr. Ajay Bisaria, Ambassador of India to Poland, visited ArcelorMittal Warszawa. He was accompanied by his first deputy Mr. G.R. Meena.
The Ambassador wanted to know the production cycle in the plant, asked about production mix, markets and usage of various steel grades. The guests were very interested in the history of ArcelorMittal Warszawa. They also decided to take a closer look at the production of SBQ (special bar quality) in the Rolling Mill. Jan Nowicki, production director, was acting as a guide.
- It was a very interesting experience. I am impressed by the Rolling Mill – a state of the art production shop. I have been to Poland for six months and I am getting to know your country better and better. Now I can see that ArcelorMittal plants are situated not only in the south of Poland - a modern steelworks ArcelorMittal Warszawa is functioning in the capital – concluded at the end of the visit the Ambassador of India.
Ajay Bisaria has been Ambassador of India to Poland since January 2015. Before his arrival to Warsaw he served as Joint Secretary (Eurasia) in the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi, heading the Division coordinating overall policy and bilateral relations with eleven countries in the Eurasia region The Ambassador speaks English, Russian and German. He also intends to learn Polish.
